Very pleased to be played as a part of David Hoopers Disgusting Electronica on BBC Radio 1 today, very good show always weird to hear myself on the radio alongside artists like Autechre, LFO and Venetian Snares but all good and slowly getting used to it, you can see the full tracklisting on his Myspace page here. It was another special christmas present.
There will probably also be the listen again feature, check pages for info.

Was very pleased to be able to head over TNMOC again today as most of the staff and volunteers were present so lots of brilliant minds were available for conversation and queries, I spent a large part of the day talking about the Elliot 803, which I now know operates at 288ms per instruction, and has 29 musical notes.
However it’s good to see how the museum is progressing with better and new displays and will head back in the new year to start more in depth research.

It was awesome, I had such a good time. It was an honour to be able to perform at Maida Vale for the BBC, not just because it has so many amazing artists perform there like Radiohead and Aphex Twin, but it was once the home to the BBC Radiophonic Workshop which has a very special place in my heart.
I was also followed there by BBC Look East who were doing a feature on me as well as BBC Radio Suffolk so no pressure at all. It was another great opportunity for me to get chip tune music out to new people and I think I did pretty well.
I was able to invite a few of my close friends and my student from The British Academy of New Music who all really enjoyed it. After the show I was shown into Studio 5 which is apparently Jo Wiley’s Live Lounge and interviewed, Huw and I wore silly santa hats and fun was had by all.
The session can be heard again here for seven days on BBC iplayer, podcasted here, and photo gallery soon. Enjoy.

Was very lucky to be on Stephen Fosters’ show today, and to be interviewed, he has been very supportive of upcoming local music through BBC Introducing. I got to chat about my musical influences and play a few tracks of other artists I like, such as The Commodores “Machine Gun”, Mazzy Star ” Fade Into You” and Nirvana “About A girl”. It was good fun and you can hear it tonight from 6pm onwards on BBC Radio Suffolk and also listen again for the next seven days from their website here.

I had lots of fun at this very in depth interview, despite barely having a voice, it all ended up well, the researcher clearly had done their research very well, without giving too much away you can listen again here here and check out their blog here. Enjoy

Was very pleased to find out Rob Da Bank from BBC Radio 1 wanted to play one of my tracks, and he played “Super Fantastic Turbo Magical 2 Player Love Game Adventure Called Happiness” on his show tonight/this morning :) he then went on to say it was “chip music of the highest order” which is always nice to hear people listening and liking your music. You can listen again at here for the next seven days I am about an hour and forty minutes into the show. Enjoy.
Remember my Maida Vale session will be on Wed 18th, 2008 00:00-02:00 BBC Radio 1 Huw Stephens Introducing Christmas Party.
